Board Member

Beverly Mullins is a retired Human Resources executive who worked almost 40 years in both the corporate world and higher education. Beverly has a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. She retired from Verizon Wireless in 2015 as Executive Director—Human Resources Business Partner. Beverly was in that role 13 years, where she provided strategic HR leadership and direction for the 11-state South Area. She was part of the area executive leadership team and HR business partner to the area president. During her 18-year career with Verizon, Beverly was promoted to progressively more responsible positions.

Beverly and her husband, Ray, live at Lake Oconee, having moved here in 2018 from Marietta, Georgia. Before that, they lived in Toledo, Ohio. Beverly and Ray have been married over 48 years and have one son. He and his family, including a granddaughter and grandson, live in Ann Arbor, Michigan. For the last 5 years, Beverly has been active with Lake Oconee Women’s Community Bible Study, where she has been both a class member and core leader. Beverly and Ray attend Grace Fellowship Church.
